This foundation is made possible because of the success and dedication of Dorothy Anne and C.W. Conn Jr., the parents of Elizabeth Waddill, Co-Founder of The Edaren Foundation.

Dorothy Anne and C.W. were true examples of being cheerful givers and wanted to pay back their good fortune to the community, state and country that enabled their success. “My dad often reminded us of this quote by John Wesley that is an elusive, yet fruitful intention to spread one’s blessings”, shares Elizabeth:

“Do all the good you can,
By all the means you can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all the times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever you can.”
– John Wesley

To continue their spirit of giving and their passion for improving the quality of life in our communities, Edaren was founded by Elizabeth and her husband, Russ Waddill, to fund meaningful projects in the areas of the arts, education and the environment – all passions of Dorothy Anne and C.W. – in their honor.
